"Just Take That" Post Concert 2020 Review  (concert details below)

The band, who also performed for HNT in 2019, are absolutely superb…their contact details are through
Freak Music Management.
Thanks to the kindness of my main sponsor,
Peter Harding Wealth Management, a lot of the theatre costs were covered. A further two private sponsors came forwards to help with the band costs which was amazing.

Numerous emails were then sent out to local businesses and individuals to ask for seat sponsorship so that I could donate seats out to families with SEN children/young people, carers, and specialist schools/hubs. For most, financial constraints meant that they could not come and join in the fun otherwise, but my aims was this event to be a fully inclusive, a once in a lifetime experience for many, and the community coming together as one.

The night was fantastic…everyone on their feet dancing. The amazing Larry Lagrue {who is also one of my trustees} yet again brought the auditorium to silence as he, through his remarkable HNT Poem
, reminded everyone WHY we were there and what the aim was…to not only raise much needed funds for a great cause but to also flag up what families with SEN children/young people, carers, and specialist schools/hubs are struggling with, what further support is required, and what could make a real difference to their lives by the support of the general public.

Just before the interval, the amazing “Michael Jackson” tribute danced on the stage…bringing the house down and sending out the message that if you have additional needs it does not stop you from following your dreams!

Towards the end of the concert a very, lucky lad with Down Syndrome was up on the stage, singing and dancing with the band…the real star of the show.
I can safely say the concert was a tremendous evening, not just due to the fact that nearly £10,000 was raised, but also being such an inclusive and happy event. The response from all has been truly positive and the wish for a further concert in 2021 was evident.
